Foundedin 1985 by Board Chair Hon. John V. Lindsay, Executive Producer Bernie Gersten and Director Gregory Mosher, and led for 33 years by Andre Bishop,LCT is one of the leading nonprofit theaters in the country, producing an annual season of plays and musicals that have been seen by millions around the globe. It is one of 11 autonomous constituents of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.Each year, the three theaters that make up LCT welcomenearly 400,000audience members toitshome on the Lincoln Center campus.

Over the last 40 years, LCT and its outstanding productions have received many of the highest accolades, including 91 Tony Awards, 181 Drama Desk Awards, 84 Outer Critics Circle Awards, 36Obies, 13 NY Drama Critics Circle Awards, and one Pulitzer Prize, as well as two finalists.

Position Summary:

TheAssociate Producer andNewPlay Associatewill join the Artistic team and gain hands-on experience in producing and general management within a major nonprofit theater organization. Working closely with Lincoln Center Theater's artistic teamand reporting to the LCT3 Artistic Director and Producer, Maria Manuela Goyanes, the Associate Producerand New Play Associatewillassistin shepherding productions from development through performance across all three venues.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist Producers with administrative, creative, and logistical support for current and upcoming productions.
  • Help coordinate calendars, contracts, and communication among artistic, production, marketing, and general management departments.
  • Participate in production meetings, readings, and workshops.
  • Conduct research and prepare materials for potential productions, artists, and projects.
  • Support coordination of developmental readings, rehearsals, andspecial events.
  • Assistwith tracking budgets, invoices, and production expenses.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Development teams on show-related content and donor events.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Producing and Artistic staff as assigned.
  • Participate in staff meetings, internal training, and professional development opportunities.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in producing, theater management, or arts administration.
  • Strong interest in nonprofit theater,producing, and artistic development.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with union structures (AEA, SDC, USA), budgeting, and production timelines a plus.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic budgeting or scheduling software.
  • A collaborative, positive, and flexible approach in a high-paced environment.


Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position with an annual salary range of $120,000 - $125,000. Lincoln Center Theater provides comprehensive benefitsincluding:Paid Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 403(b) and Employer Match, and Paid Time Off.
