Barista | Part-Time | Morning Lavender Café

We're looking for a warm, service-driven Barista to join our café team. If you love connecting with people, thrive under pressure, and take pride in the details, we want to meet you.


About the Role

  • Job Type: Part-time (Hourly)
  • Hours: Minimum 25 hours/week
  • Pay: $16.90/hour + tips

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service with warmth and attentiveness
  • Operate the register, take orders, and recommend drinks confidently
  • Learn and memorise our drink menu, ingredients, and preparation steps
  • Efficiently craft multiple beverages at once while maintaining quality
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace throughout your shift
  • Follow all health and safety standards consistently
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and teammates
  • Collaborate to ensure the best guest experience, from ambiance to execution

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for 6+ hours at a time
  • Able to lift and move items up to 20 pounds


Non-Negotiable Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be available at least 4 days per week
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week
  • Availability as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 7:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday availability is mandatory
  • Availability requirement does not guarantee your actual weekly schedule
  • Valid Food Handler's Card required (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
  • Barista experience preferred but not required. We will train the right person.
