Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Morning Catering Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is essential to the success of our catering operations, requiring an early start to ensure all menu items are prepped and ready for timely delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, solid cooking fundamentals, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrive on time and ready to work by 5:00 AM daily
  • Execute prep tasks efficiently and accurately according to recipes and standards
  • Cook and prepare hot and cold items for catering orders
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station
  • Package and label food for delivery
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and catering staff
  • Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, and storage organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Chef
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and safety procedures
  • Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must
  • ServSafe certification is a plus
