Job description

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly

Requirements:

  • Active RN License in New York
  • 2+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • Travel experience is required
  • EMR experience: EPIC
  • Skills checklist matching specialty

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to adults in a medical-surgical environment.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist in post-surgical care and management of common diagnoses, including abdominal pain, fractures, and morbid obesity.

Compliance / Notes:

  • Floating is required.
  • Scrub color: Navy Blue.
  • RTO must be included at the time of submission.
