Job Summary
Responsible for the overall handling of final product ensuring all product leaves the plant, correctly placed in pallets, trays or boxes in compliance with customer specifications.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Performs all product handling activities in the palletizing department such as stacking and counting
  • Verifies product and product appearance, is within specified parameters
  • Ensures trays, pallets and/or boxes are within standards
  • Verifies equipment is in good working condition; communicates to management any deficiencies noted
  • Performs visual inspection of product ensuring quality is acceptable
  • Keeps work area clean. Perform cleaning of area assigned.
  • Provides repackaging and reworking product as directed by supervisor
  • Follows all food safety principles and legal requirements
  • Works in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements.
  • Other duties, as assigned

  • Basic math skills
  • Able to work flexible schedule and weekends
  • Able to stand for long period of time
  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds continuously throughout the shift
