Overview
Are you passionate about skiing and riding-and love connecting people with unforgettable experiences? As a Mountain Sports School Sales Agent based at the luxurious Montage Hotel, you'll be the face of Big Sky Resort's lesson experience. You'll guide guests of all ages and ability levels toward the right private lesson, help them navigate our lift access products, and ensure every interaction feels personal and helpful.
This guest-facing role is perfect for a friendly, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven setting. You'll work 4 ten-hour shifts per week with three days off-and enjoy a complimentary shift meal on workdays.
Responsibilities
  • Become an expert on Big Sky Resort, the Montage property, Spanish Peaks, and the surrounding area to support guest questions
  • Book private lessons and sell lift tickets tailored to guest needs, capturing all necessary information accurately
  • Offer knowledgeable, clear explanations about all Mountain Sports School products-especially private instruction
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales area while staying proactive in downtime
  • Deliver exceptional guest service during every interaction-even during busy rushes
  • Cultivate a welcoming, enthusiastic presence that makes guests feel confident and informed about their mountain adventure

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality required; outdoor activity sales a plus
  • Must have a personal vehicle or carpool access-location is not on a bus route
  • Clear, professional communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Confident using computers and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Capable of multitasking and staying focused in high-energy environments
  • Outgoing, approachable personality that connects easily with guests
  • Experience with RTP | One Resort software is a plus
