Responsibilities

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • One (1) year of experience as a Monitor Technician
  • Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
  • Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
  • PREFERRED

  • CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI.
  • Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM):7PM - 7AMWeekend Requirements:YesEmployment Type: FULL_TIME
