Security Officer Unarmed - Monitor

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Monitor in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using technology to document observations and assist visitors and employees. Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations and completing required documentation.
  • Support the orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, and shipments while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
