Full-Time | Mondayโ€“Friday | Office-Based with Patient Home Visits

BrightStar Care is a private duty home care agency committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to clients in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking an experienced and clinically skilledRegistered Nurse (RN)to join our Bluffton team.

This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys a combination ofclinical nursing, patient assessment, care coordination, and skilled nursing oversight. The RN will work primarily from our Bluffton office during regular Mondayโ€“Friday business hours, with occasional travel to patientsโ€™ homes to provide assessments and skilled nursing care.

Position Responsibilities
  • Oversee and monitor theskilled nursing side of the business, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with established standards of care.
  • Perform comprehensivenursing assessmentsand develop appropriate care plans based on each patient's needs.
  • Conduct in-home nursing visits when needed to assess patients, provide skilled care, and monitor changes in condition.
  • Provide and/or overseeIVIG infusion therapyand other skilled nursing services as appropriate.
  • Providewound care, including assessment and treatment
  • Manage and provide care related tobowel and bladder regimens.
  • Provide and/or overseetube feedingand enteral nutrition care.
  • Review and ensure accurate nursing documentation and care records.
  • Help ensure that nursing services are delivered in accordance with applicable regulations, professional standards, and BrightStar Care policies.
  • Participate in quality assurance and ongoing clinical oversight of skilled cases.
  • Occasionally travel to patients' homes within the service area to provide nursing assessments and hands-on skilled care.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with a compact/multistate license valid in South Carolina and Georgia.
  • Minimum of2 years of professional nursing experiencepreferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience withIVIG/infusion therapystrongly preferred.
  • Experience withwound care, tube feeding, and bowel/bladder managementpreferred.
  • Home health, private duty, skilled nursing, or case management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable traveling to patient homes when clinical needs require.
Schedule
