Job description

Job Description – Registered Nurse Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Recovery Place, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform nursing assessments, monitor client vitals and observe the self-administration of client medication. Candidates will also assist a doctor during client appointments and provide medical and lifestyle education for clients. Candidates will also be responsible for performing other nursing, clerical, and referral functions as assigned by supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performs Nursing Assessments • Provides clients with Medical and Lifestyle education • Completes administrative functions and Acts as Medical Records Custodian • Completes Insurance authorizations for Detox residents • Acts as liaison for Medical Students and Family Practice Interns • Maintains Knowledge of current policies, laws, trends, and development in the field • Adheres to company policies and procedures • Performs all other duties as assigned by supervision

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license • At least two years of relevant experience • Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Aptitude at maintaining confidentiality • Proficiency with office equipment including but not limited to facsimile, copier, multi-line phone system
