Job description

Patient Care Technician - Virtual Care
Description:
  • Assist RN's and LPN's with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents
  • Actively participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patient
  • Provide complete and thorough personal care for patients
  • Take and accurately record vital signs
  • Assist and accompany the patient in the admission, transfer and discharge process while assuring comfort and safety
  • Promptly and consistently respond to patient's needs
  • Promptly and consistently respond to needs of family members
  • Complete housekeeping responsibilities such as utility rooms and diet kitchen as needed
  • Assist with ADL's- personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing
  • Provide support to patients and family members

Experience/Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous patient care experience in hospital setting preferred
  • CNA certification preferred but not required
