RN Supervisor (Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm)

Job Summary:

University Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a compassionate and clinically trained team, is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee all aspects of operating a unit within our long-term health care facility. As a vital member of our team, you will supervise nursing staff, monitor patient care, and ensure the highest level of quality care for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee unit operations, implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective care

  • Assist with treatment and medication administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols

  • Participate in Admissions, conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized care plans

  • Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings with the healthcare team

  • Conduct daily audits of new admission charts to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Serve as a liaison between family, patient, doctor, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and care coordination

  • Investigate incident reports and follow up with necessary actions to prevent recurrence

  • Manage staff assignments and ensure quality of care, providing guidance and support as needed

  • Participate in weekly risk meetings to report on patient conditions and identify potential risks

  • Participate in annual evaluations of staff and provide constructive feedback for growth and development

  • Take on-call hours on weekends and holidays as assigned, ensuring prompt response to patient needs

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of Georgia

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
