Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room environment consisting of 10 ORs
  • Assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures including orthopedic and trauma cases
  • Collaborate with surgical team members including RNs and Surgical Technologists across day shift operations
  • Fulfill on-call obligations, including a minimum of 15 or more call days covering CVOR and holidays
  • Adhere to unit guidelines, policies, and dress code standards as directed by facility leadership
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Completion of PeriOp 101 program
  • Minimum 1 year of CVOR or perioperative nursing experience
  • Demonstrated orthopedic and trauma surgical experience
  • Ability to meet on-call requirements including holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical setting
  • Familiarity with a high-volume operating room environment
