Position Details:

  • Location: St. Joseph's Hospital South, 6901 Simmons Loop, Riverview, FL 33578

  • Status: Full time, Monday- Friday

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

  • On Call: Yes

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

  • RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

  • RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

  • RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

  • RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position we prefer a minimum of two years RN experience. We prefer a minimum of one-year acute care RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU or Critical Care. Endoscopy experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements:

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License

  • Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing

  • BSN or higher preferred

  • BLS certification

  • ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

  • PALS certification with the American Heart Association preferred

  • Required Experience: 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment.
