Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging
Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 Base + 10–30% Overtime + Vehicle + Full Benefits

Our client, a rapidly growing and nationally respected third-party medical imaging service provider, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their elite team. Primary Modalities & Equipment Focus

  • Modalities: MRI and CT (Primary)
  • OEM Experience: GE and Siemens strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert installation, maintenance, and repair of medical imaging equipment—specifically MRI and CT systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and system verifications in line with OEM and company standards.
  • Deliver high-level technical support and timely troubleshooting in clinical environments.
  • Accurately document service activity according to company protocols.
  • Maintain and manage company assets such as tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with account managers and healthcare clients to ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Submit detailed field service reports and communicate effectively with internal teams.
  • Uphold compliance with all quality, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation
  • Professional demeanor and ability to manage high-pressure environments
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 75 lbs., and frequently stand, walk, and use hands/arms for extended periods
  • Comfortable with frequent regional travel, including occasional overnights and flights

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree or some college coursework preferred
  • Experience:
  • Demonstrated field service experience in medical imaging required
  • Direct hands-on experience with GE or Siemens MRI/CT systems highly preferred

Schedule & Travel

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
  • Travel: Frequent travel within a 4-hour radius; some overnight and air travel required
