Atlas Technica's mission is to shoulder the burden of technology operations for our clients, acting as an extension of their team and allowing them to focus on their core business. We are a fast-growing Managed Service Provider delivering white-glove IT services to top-tier financial firms across the U.S. and abroad.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated Intern Trainee to join our Infrastructure team. This internship offers hands-on experience in supporting internal project managers and leads as they coordinate complex IT deployments, including office buildouts, AV integration, hardware procurement, and low-voltage installations.The program is intentionally designed as a pipeline into an Infrastructure Project Manager role at Atlas Technica, with successful interns progressing into full-time project coordination and infrastructure roles on the Project Management track.
This is a paid internship with the potential for a full-time offer upon successful completion. The ideal candidate is based in the NYC area and must be comfortable with onsite visits in the tri-state region, as well as occasional travel across the U.S. to support project execution.
Responsibilities
  • Support Infrastructure Project Managers and Coordinators with the planning and delivery of infrastructure deployments
  • Track timelines, schedules, vendor coordination, and milestone progress across active projects
  • Participate in client and vendor calls, taking detailed notes and managing follow-up tasks
  • Help maintain internal project documentation including IP sheets, equipment trackers, project timelines, and Confluence pages
  • Coordinate delivery windows, cabling schedules, and installation timelines with vendors (AV, Security, ISP, Furniture, etc.)
  • Assist with onsite deployment prep and go-live support as needed
  • Travel to client sites for hardware installs, vendor walkthroughs, or relocation support (under guidance of senior PMs)
  • Support the Infrastructure team with inventory audits, procurement documentation, and logistics tracking

Requirements
  • Strong interest in project management, infrastructure operations, and IT project delivery
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Slack, Excel/Sheets, and project platforms like Monday.com is a plus
  • Ability to work in-person in the NYC area when needed
  • Willingness to travel domestically to support onsite IT deployments
  • Bonus: Knowledge of basic IT hardware (switches, WAPs, racks), AV setups, or low-voltage concepts
