At Benton Communities, we continually strive to create a vibrant environment for our residents, our team members, and our communities at-large.Position Summary:Monarch Mills is looking for a site based Certification Specialist. The ideal candidate should be organized, have attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks is crucial.Responsibilities include assisting applicants with income certifications, processing rental applications; responding to resident calls, overseeing apartment turnovers/scheduling move ins, coordinating lender and regulatory inspections and oversight of all licensing and maintenance of units.Strong knowledge of HUD & tax credit (LIHTC) programs is required. Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P) for Low Income Housing Tax Credit, Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) certifications are preferred.Desired Skills and ExperienceAt least 3-5 years of related property management experienceResident RelationsWorking knowledge of HUD & Tax Credit Eligibility, Documentation & Reporting Requirements Benefits Offered:Excellent benefits package, including PTO accrual for full-time employment up to 120 hours during the first year of employment which increases by one day with each additional year of employment up to 200 hours.
