Job description

Social Media Manager & Content Creator — Part-Time Monaco Salon | South Tampa, FL

Monaco Salon, a high-end salon in South Tampa, is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our team part-time. If you have an eye for beautiful imagery, a pulse on beauty and lifestyle trends, and a passion for building an engaged online community, we'd love to meet you.
About Us Monaco Salon is South Tampa's destination for luxury hair, color, and extension services. We're building a brand presence online that reflects the same elevated experience our clients receive in the chair — and we're looking for someone who can bring that vision to life across our social platforms.
What You'll Do

  • Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content in-salon (transformations, behind-the-scenes, reels, tutorials, and team features)
  • Manage and grow our Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook presence with a consistent posting schedule
  • Write engaging captions and stay on top of platform trends, sounds, and formats
  • Interact with followers, respond to comments/DMs, and help grow our online community
  • Coordinate with stylists and salon leadership to capture standout client transformations
  • Track engagement and follower growth, and adjust content strategy based on what's working
  • Support occasional promotions, events, and email/social campaigns
What We're Looking For

  • Experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok (a strong personal or professional portfolio is a must)
  • Skilled with a smartphone camera and basic photo/video editing (CapCut, Lightroom, Canva, or similar)
  • A strong sense of aesthetics — you understand what "high-end" looks and feels like
  • Excellent writing skills and a natural voice for captions and community engagement
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
  • Prior experience in a salon, spa, or beauty-industry setting is a plus but not required
  • Must be able to work on-site in South Tampa for in-salon content shoots
Details

  • Part-time, flexible schedule (flexibility around salon hours for content shoots)
  • Compensation based on experience
  • Fun, creative, upbeat salon environment
