We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our Molecular Imaging R&D organization. This individual will play a key role in validating software, documentation, and installation workflows for PET/CT systems while collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable products.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, identifying issues before products reach customers, and continuously improving testing and documentation processes.

You are responsible for:

  • Executing system, software, and installation testing activities across multiple Molecular Imaging development projects.

  • Reviewing product requirements and collaborating with Product Management and R&D teams to ensure requirements are testable, complete, and verifiable.

  • Developing test cases, test plans, and validation strategies based on product requirements.

  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects while partnering with engineering teams to drive issue resolution.

  • Validating service documentation, installation procedures, release notes, and software reinstallation instructions to ensure technical accuracy and usability.

  • Reviewing technical documentation and collaborating with Component Engineering to improve documentation quality and consistency.

  • Supporting software releases, tune-ups, configurations, and product updates for PET/CT imaging systems.

  • Participating in design reviews to identify potential technical risks, usability concerns, and opportunities for quality improvements.

  • Analyzing customer and field feedback to identify recurring issues and recommend product or documentation enhancements.

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, development processes, and quality tools.

  • Collaborating with Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Technical Publications, Product Management, Service Engineering, and Quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Planning, coordinating, and tracking testing activities while meeting project milestones and quality objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing, systems testing, validation, quality engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Experience developing and executing test cases and documenting software defects.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience working in cross-functional product development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with medical devices, healthcare software, or regulated product development.

  • Familiarity with ALM, defect tracking, SAP, or similar quality management tools.

  • Experience validating technical or service documentation.

  • Exposure to imaging modalities such as PET/CT, SPECT, CT, or related medical imaging systems.

  • Experience supporting software installations, upgrades, or service workflows.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and verification & validation processes.

The base pay range for this position is:

$89,220 - $122,672

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
