Job description

Robin Industries healthcare Division is seeking a Mold Maintenance Tech, the qualified individual will be performing duties to remove, clean and install molds, pots, and accessories. 

Job duties include but may not be limited to:

  1. Perform mold change setup for production and sample run; set up ejectors, knockouts, and slitters; hoist molds and fasten to top and bottom platens; realign platform and workstation with press; maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
  2. Report presses breakdowns or malfunctioning problems to maintenance; makes minor repairs.
  3. Clean molds and pots; maintain cleaning tanks including routine test and adjustments or changing of caustic solution. (Respirator is required)
  4. Inspect mold for damage and replace damaged inserts, hinge pins, wasteless boards, etc.
  5. Complete reports and records as required.
  6. Organize and maintain mold storage area.
  7. Maintain close communications with shift supervisors regarding repairs to set up equipment and scheduling of mold cleaning.
  8. Must be able to lift, up to 50 pounds.
