Summary
Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to work PRN providing anesthesia for a variety of oncologic surgeries. No call, pediatric, obstetric, trauma, or cardiac cases. Shifts are typically 10 hours and anesthesiologist directly supervise CRNAs or AAs in a 1:3 ratio. An opportunity to participate in Interventional Pain either in the clinic or procedure suite may be available. Our Center has 24 state of the art anesthetizing sites, a new outpatient center, and a chronic and interventional pain clinic.
Experience in the practice of Anesthesiology is required. The candidates must have interest in patient care, teaching, and research. The successful applicants must have an M.D. degree, be board certified in Anesthesiology, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida. Prefer academic experience in a newly formed multidisciplinary environment.
As a PRN Anesthesiologist of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG), the incumbent agrees to undertake clinical related activity, including the provision of providing coverages in assigned department on an "as needed" basis, at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Hospital. This position will be 100% clinical and practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides patient care under the auspices of Moffitt Medical Group, and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education. As such, the incumbent agrees to comply fully with MMG policies and procedures and the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
