Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep platform expertise, advanced scripting skills, and hands-on experience with CMDB, CSDM, and BCM (Business Continuity Management). candidate will be responsible for architecting and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise service management, IT operations, and business continuity planning.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow modules and custom applications using JavaScript, Glide API, UI Policies, Flow Designer, and Business Rules.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of CMDB, ensuring complete and accurate configuration item (CI) data and relationships.
  • Align CMDB data and services to the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and drive adoption across business and IT units.
  • Architect, configure, and enhance Business Continuity Management (BCM) processes in ServiceNow, including risk assessments, impact analysis, continuity plans, and testing.
  • Collaborate with risk, compliance, and continuity teams to ensure BCM data models and workflows align with organizational resilience goals.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems and data sources using REST/SOAP APIs and MID servers.
  • Drive data integrity, governance, and normalization strategies across CMDB and BCM data sets.
  • Guide junior developers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and platform best practices.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and executive-level views for CMDB, CSDM, and BCM .
 
 
Requirements:
 
  • Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, administration, and module implementation.
  • Strong scripting knowledge: JavaScript, Glide API, Client/Server Scripts, UI Scripts.
  • Proven experience with CMDB architecture, Service Mapping, Discovery, and integrations.
  • Solid understanding and implementation experience of CSDM (v3 or higher).
  • Hands-on experience with Business Continuity Management (BCM) workflows and modules.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM and ITOM modules, with alignment to ITIL v4 practices.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow integration methods and Integration Hub.
  • Experience with Service Graph Connector, CMDB Health Dashboards, and CSDM compliance reporting.
  • Experience with ServiceNow GRC or SecOps
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Exposure to risk management and disaster recovery planning
 
Certifications Preferred:
 
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required
  • ServiceNow Application Developer
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist – ITSM, ITOM, or BCM
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation
