Job Title: Driver & Set Crew Member
Department: Transportation
Reports to: Transportation Manager
Location: Detroit Lakes, MN
Summary
The Driver & Set Crew position assists in delivering modular home sections from our factory to customers sites as well as setting the sections onto foundations.
Essential Functions

  • Assists in setting modules onto foundations
  • Installs weather protective material on modules following the set
  • Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies including wearing appropriate PPE
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days are Monday through Friday. Weekend or evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Wage is $28.00 an hour.
Travel
Travel is required during the business day, out -of-area and overnight travel is to be expected.
Experience
  • Oversized load experience is preferred
  • General carpentry experience preferred
  • Proficient in using hand tools such as tape measure, utility knife and hammer
  • Strict attention to detail an order accuracy
  • Ability to follow written and spoken instruction
  • Ability to lift to 80 pounds comfortably and consistently

Education/Certifications
  • Class A CDL License is required
