Job Overview

We are seeking motivated Apprentice Shop Carpenters to join our manufacturing team building high-quality roof trusses and wall panels used in residential and commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, want to develop carpentry and construction skills, and are looking for a stable career with advancement opportunities.

You'll work in a team-oriented production environment using hand and power tools to assemble building components that help construct homes and commercial buildings throughout the region.


Responsibilities
  • Assemble roof trusses and wall panels according to specifications and production schedules
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
  • Measure, mark, and cut materials to precise dimensions
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
  • Rotate between workstations as production needs require
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • 6+ months of experience using hand or power tools in construction, manufacturing, woodworking, automotive, or a related field
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift
