Ketjen is hiring for a IT Manager (Modern Workspace and End User Computing). This position is hybrid and located in Clear Lake, Texas, in-office and located in Clear Lake.

What You Will Do

  • Modern Workspace Strategy & Architecture

    Define and execute the enterprise Modern Workplace strategy aligned to business goals, productivity, and cost efficiency

    Architect and manage a secure, scalable digital workplace leveraging Microsoft 365 and cloud-first principles

    Standardize end-user computing (EUC) platforms, including device lifecycle, OS standards, and workplace experience

    Lead roadmap for collaboration, mobility, and digital employee experience (DEX)

    Collaboration & Productivity Platforms

    Own and optimize collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive

    Drive adoption of M365 capabilities (Teams Phone, Viva, Loop, Copilot) to enhance productivity and workflow automation

    Establish governance, lifecycle management, and security controls for collaboration environments

    Partner with business teams to embed collaboration tools into core workflows

    Endpoint Management & Windows Platform

    Own endpoint strategy across Windows devices leveraging Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager

    Standardize and manage Windows OS lifecycle, patching, imaging, and compliance (e.g., Windows 11)

    Implement modern device provisioning (Autopilot), mobile device management (MDM), and mobile application management (MAM)

    Drive endpoint performance, reliability, and user experience improvements

    Identity, Security & Compliance

    Partner with cybersecurity to enforce Zero Trust principles across the workspace

    Manage identity and access via Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

    Ensure endpoint and collaboration security using Microsoft Defender suite

    Implement DLP, information protection, and compliance policies across M365

    Maintain audit readiness and regulatory compliance for end-user environments

    Digital Employee Experience & Support

    Lead initiatives to improve digital employee experience (DEX), including device performance, collaboration usability, and service quality

    Implement proactive monitoring and analytics for endpoint and user experience

    Oversee service desk and end-user support models, ensuring SLAs and high satisfaction

    Drive automation and self-service capabilities to reduce friction and improve productivity

    Vendor & Asset Management

    Manage strategic vendor relationships including Microsoft and hardware providers (Dell)

    Optimize licensing strategy and costs for M365 and endpoint tools

    Oversee hardware lifecycle management including procurement, refresh, and disposal

    Ensure cost-effective delivery aligned with IT run-rate targets

    Leadership & Governance

    Build and lead a high-performing Modern Workplace / EUC team

    Establish governance frameworks, standards, and policies for workplace technologies

    Communicate strategy, roadmap, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership

    Drive organizational change management (OCM) to maximize adoption and value realization

What You Bring

Required:

  • 8+ years in End User Computing, Modern Workplace, or IT Infrastructure roles

    3+ years leading teams in workplace technologies or endpoint management

    Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale M365 and endpoint transformations

    Strong track record of improving user productivity and reducing operational costs

    Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem

    Endpoint management: Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, MDM/MAM

    Operating systems: Windows 11 and Windows platform management

    Identity & security: Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Zero Trust

    Collaboration platforms: Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive

    Experience with endpoint security, patching, and compliance frameworks

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-enabled workplace productivity tools

    Familiarity with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platforms

    Experience integrating workplace tools with enterprise systems

    Relevant certifications: Microsoft Certified (Modern Desktop Administrator, Enterprise Administrator Expert)

    Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments with hybrid/field workforce needs
