Job description

Are you passionate about coding, architecture, and creating models for hardware? This opportunity is outstanding as you will work at the forefront of technology. You will help build and improve the modelling infrastructure for GPU and SOC models. Your work will be essential in transforming software development on NVIDIA hardware for the company and our customers. Join us and contribute to something truly transformative!

What you will be doing:

  • Develop the tools, libraries, and environments to model and simulate next-generation chip architectures.

  • Support the architecture and engineering teams by enabling them to build their models on top of this advanced environment.

  • Successfully implement solutions to complex modelling problems using your expertise in SystemC, C++, and Architecture.

  • Guide and influence teams that model GPU features, ensuring they bring to bear the environment's features to build efficient hardware models.

  • Document, develop, and build tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify models with precision.

What we need to see:

  • 12+ years of experience in the field.

  • A Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with 10+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong programming skills in C++ and C, coupled with a solid understanding of build systems (CMAKE, make), toolchains (GCC, MSVC), and libraries (STL, BOOST).

  • Proven background in Computer Architecture with experience in modeling using SystemC & Transaction Level Modelling (TLM).

  • Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Python, and Perl.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and constructively, engaging effectively within a distributed team environment.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Prior experience in developing simulation models for major chip projects within the chip or EDA industry.

  • Familiarity with simulation and modelling tools from major EDA vendors.

  • Experience collaborating with teams across different time zones, demonstrating a global perspective and adaptability.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.
