Job description

American Heritage Schools of Palm Beach, Summer Day Camp is currently seeking candidates to fill various positions such as Camp Counselors, Camp Specialists (Art, Science, etc.), Lifeguards, and Coaches for this summer. This is a seasonal position between June 8th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026

Benefits:

  • Lunch and snacks are provided.

Job Type: Seasonal

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (daily) June 8th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026 8am-3:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: (depending on position)

  • Ensure campers are safe at all times
  • Mandatory attendance to pre camp trainings (dates to be determined)
  • Make sure all safety rules are followed while still having a fun environment
  • May be required to communicate with parents, providing updates where required and answering questions about the camp
  • Providing guidance, motivation and support for all campers
  • Lead and/or assist in all activities such as arts & crafts, sports, while demonstrating various techniques and encouraging children to come up with ideas and to participate
  • Model good behavior for campers as it relates to sportsmanship, manners, and being respectful
  • May be required to swim daily
  • Other duties may apply

  • Able to provide undivided attention to assigned job duties
  • Patient and reliable
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • A love for children
  • Energetic and positive personality
  • Experience as Camp Counselor or similar role working with children, preferred
  • First aid and CPR-certified preferred (we provide the training)
