Job Description Summary:
A System Modeling & Simulation Engineer 2 designs, develops, validates, and maintains dynamic simulations and infrastructure for rapid assessment, integration, and test of complex systems. Simulation applications range from high-level behavioral simulations for visualization and evaluation of system concepts to high-fidelity real-time simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop infrastructure to support development, integration, test, and sustainment of systems and software.
Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
• Model operational environments, perform studies via computer simulation and recommend alternative architectures with some guidance.
• Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks assess system survivability, system effectiveness, and overall system performance in engagement / mission-level scenarios.
• Perform studies and simulation analysis with the objective of enhancing and optimizing system performance capabilities.
• Prepare, document, and deliver presentations to gather necessary data and communicate intermediate and final results.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with analytical methods, approaches, and data visualization.

• Familiarity with interface specifications for SPI, I2C, MIL-STD-1553, RS-232, RS-422, and Ethernet.
• Understanding of synchronization protocols such as PTP.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience
3-5 years of Systems Engineering or related experience.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$75,000.00 - $156,000.00
