A global nonprofit that provides trusted biological materials for science and health, ATCC is hiring a Senior Manager, Product - Cell Models & Reagents. This remote role serves as the business and portfolio leader for ATCC's Cell Systems including cell lines, cell culture media, serum and cell culture reagents. The Senior Manager, Product is responsible for the commercial success and lifecycle management of assigned product portfolios, driving product strategy, revenue growth, customer adoption, and market competitiveness while partnering closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Quality, and R&D. This role also leads a team of product managers and supports execution of portfolio and commercialization strategies across the product lifecycle.

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product - Cell Models & Reagents, ideally with product management experience in cell lines, cell culture media, serum and cell culture reagents supporting commercial portfolio strategy in life sciences markets. Join ATCC and be part of a team that supports the global scientific community with trusted, authenticated biological materials.

  • Product Strategy & Portfolio Management: Develop and execute product strategies, portfolio plans, and multi-year roadmaps aligned to business objectives, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Lifecycle Management: Lead the complete product lifecycle, including product development, commercialization, growth, optimization, and retirement activities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Direct product development and commercialization initiatives in partnership with Scientific, Operations, Quality, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders.
  • Commercial Planning: Develop product business plans, revenue forecasts, pricing strategies, profitability targets, and investment recommendations that support portfolio growth.
  • Market & Customer Insights: Evaluate customer needs, market trends, competitive activity, portfolio performance, and growth opportunities to inform product and portfolio decisions.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Support product positioning, value propositions, commercialization strategies, sales enablement, customer adoption, and revenue objectives.

  • Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's degree and 12 years of experience, or equivalent experience (Master's degree and 8 years, PhD and 5 years, or HS Diploma and 16 years).
  • Knowledge of cell lines, cell culture media, serum and cell culture reagents.
  • Experience developing and executing product strategies, multi-year roadmaps, portfolio plans, commercialization plans, pricing strategies, and lifecycle plans.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional product development and commercialization initiatives across scientific, operational, quality, sales, and marketing functions.
  • Experience developing business plans, revenue forecasts, pricing strategies, profitability targets, and investment recommendations.
  • Knowledge of market analysis, customer insights, competitive assessment, and portfolio performance evaluation.
  • Experience supporting go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, customer adoption, and commercial growth initiatives.
  • Ability to present product strategies, business cases, portfolio performance, and investment recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Preferred: Experience leading teams of professional level individual contributors, mentoring staff, supporting performance management, and aligning execution with organizational objectives.

The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
