Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working in a data center systems architecture, design, hardware bring-up and validation technical environment.
  • 3 years of experience in technical leadership.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in data center systems architecture, design, hardware bring-up, and validation environments.
  • Experience in signal integrity concepts and high-precision test equipment for measurements and bit error rates.
  • Experience managing test teams, overseeing lab work, data collection, root-cause analysis, and improving qualification processes.
  • Understanding of testing and hardware validation requirements, best practices, and algorithms for data center hardware.
  • Knowledge of networking equipment, including network interface cards (NICs), switches, and cabling, as well as interfaces such as PCIe and Ethernet.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and external vendors/partners to track qualification status and report progress to organization leaders.
  • Act as a "go-to" technical leader with in-depth knowledge of the test methodologies, technologies, equipment and the hardware being deployed.
  • Maintain and improve qualification processes while supporting career development and growth of individual team members and making hiring and talent choices.
  • Conduct signal integrity focused testing of all data center products.
  • Ensure high-speed interfaces and all other elements on our boards and systems meet specifications and requirements.
