Job description

Summary
Provides post-production support by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Pours models using a spatula. Makes sure end result is free of bubbles

  • Grinds models to appropriate thickness using the model trimmer.

  • Bases models in vulcanized rubber formers for a consistent look.

  • Articulates models using the appropriate form of articulation. Bites sent in by the doctor are to be cut down appropriately for every case.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma; two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus. Proficient understanding of basic Dental Terminology, a plus

  • Ability to write simple notes.

Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
