About the Role

The Director, Marketing Technology is a strategic and highly technical leader responsible for architecting, scaling, and optimizing the MarTech ecosystem that powers customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, and revenue growth. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, technology, data, product, and analytics, driving innovation while ensuring measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in modern marketing technology platforms, customer data strategy, personalization, and omnichannel customer engagement, along with a proven track record of building high-performing teams and leading digital transformation initiatives.

What You'll Do

Marketing Technology Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the enterprise MarTech vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and growth objectives.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize a scalable marketing technology ecosystem across multiple brands.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Technology, Customer Care, and Executive Leadership teams to drive innovation and customer-centric strategies.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for marketing technology transformation and modernization initiatives.

Customer Data, Personalization & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Lead strategy and optimization for customer data platforms (CDP), CRM, email, SMS, loyalty, mobile engagement, and lifecycle marketing technologies.
  • Drive advanced audience segmentation, identity resolution, customer scoring, and real-time personalization capabilities.
  • Implement data-driven omnichannel customer journeys that increase engagement, retention, repeat purchase behavior, and customer lifetime value.

AI, Analytics & Measurement

  • Champion the adoption of AI and machine learning solutions across personalization, content generation, customer insights, and marketing optimization.
  • Establish robust experimentation, attribution, measurement, and predictive analytics frameworks.
  • Ensure reliable marketing data infrastructure, governance standards, and enterprise reporting capabilities.

Technology Integration & Platform Management

  • Oversee integration of MarTech systems with eCommerce platforms, mobile applications, data warehouses, retail systems, and third-party solutions.
  • Partner with Technology and Data Engineering teams to ensure scalable architecture, API reliability, and platform performance.
  • Drive vendor management, platform governance, training, and change management initiatives.

Executive & Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of MarTech professionals, including product managers, marketing technologists, CRM experts, and platform administrators.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior marketing and business leaders on technology strategy and innovation opportunities.
  • Foster collaboration across Marketing, eCommerce, Media, Creative, Customer Experience, Analytics, and Technology organizations.

The expected salary range for this position is$140,000 $150,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
