Job Title: Wellness Concierge / Membership Sales

Associate Reports to:Wellness Concierge Lead
Schedule:Opening (7am-3pm), Mid (10:30am-6:30pm), Closing (12:30-8:30pm) - includes weekends
Classification:Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation:$18-20/hr DOE + Monthly Bonus (performance-based)


Position Overview At Root Whole Body, we're not a passive wellness space-we're building ahigh-growth, membership-driven health community. As a Wellness Concierge, you are thefrontline driver of both client experience and revenue. This role blends hospitality with sales: you'll guide new and returning clients into services andactively convert them into committed membersthrough our Whole Body Health Accounts.


This is not a "check-in desk" role. It's agoal-oriented positionfor someone who enjoys connecting with people, excavating opportunitiesandclosing sales. You'll be expected to take initiative, follow up, fill the schedule, and consistently hit performance targets. If you've worked in boutique fitness, med spa, salon, or hospitality environments wherebooking, upselling, and membership saleswere key-this will feel like home.


The ideal candidate is proactive and personable, with a natural ability to maximize appointment bookings, upselling pre-existing appointments and filling open appointment times through outreach. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing hitting sales targets, and taking pride in creating seamless, authentic experiences for clients and team members alike. What You'll Own

Membership Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive newWhole Body Health Accountsign-ups and consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals
  • Confidently recommend services, packages, and memberships based on client needs
  • Rebook clients and upsell services at every touchpoint using a structured checkout process
  • Track personal KPIs (conversion rate, bookings, membership sales) and take ownership of results

Schedule Optimization & Outbound Sales

  • Actively manage the schedule tomaximize booked capacity and minimize gaps
  • Conduct outreach (calls, texts, email) to fill open appointments and re-engage clients
  • Identify opportunities to shift bookings and increase practitioner utilization
  • Use systems like Mindbody and CRM tools to drive repeat business and retention

Client Experience (with Purpose)

  • Deliver a warm, polished, andintentional first impression-while confidently guiding clients toward next steps
  • Lead tours and clearly communicate Root's services, value, and membership model
  • Handle client questions and objections with empathy and confidence
  • Ensure all client profiles, payments, waivers, and documentation are complete and accurate

Team & Environment

  • Collaborate with practitioners and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Contribute to ahigh-energy, accountable team culturerooted in respect and performance

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years in a client-facing role (boutique fitness, spa, salon, hospitality, or similar)
  • 1+ year ofsales or membership sales experience with measurable targets
  • Proven ability tomeet or exceed sales goals
  • Comfortable with outreach, rebooking, and closing sales conversations
  • Availability for evenings and at least one weekend day

Preferred

  • Experience withMindbody or similar booking/CRM systems
  • Background in membership-based businesses (fitness studios, med spas, wellness clinics)


Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role operates within a wellness-focused space-but the pace is active, social, andperformance-driven. You'll be on your feet, engaging with clients, managing systems, and moving between tasks throughout your shift.
