We are seeking a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer to support USSF's Operational Test and Training Infrastructure Portfolio Acquisition Executive efforts involving Enterprise Architecture modeling of National Space Test and Training capabilities. As a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE), you will provide senior level oversight, individual development contributions and team support for multiple MBSE projects. You will lead teams responsible for using MBSE tools and techniques to support requirements development, system design, and the development of use cases for USSF systems. The critical activity your efforts will support will be the creation of multiple instantiations of National Space Test and Training Complex enterprise architectures at various classification levels. You will develop, maintain, and assess models using modeling languages such as Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF). You will develop system models and create representations using data architectures and data models to facilitate interoperability. You will implement and manage system architectures in the MBSE environment. You will support the development of system integration plans, procedures and scenarios used in the conduct of software and hardware system integration testing and perform analysis of integration results to assess system impacts.
In this role, you will participate in project/program technical risk analysis and mitigation. You will analyze and evaluate systems using MBSE artifacts. You will utilize strong written, communication, and presentation skills, and work effectively in a team environment. You will review system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate. The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $170,000 annually. Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. This position is contingent on contract award.
Required
  • ABET accredited engineering degree or BS in technical field
  • 9 years related experience
  • Working experience with various model-based system engineering tools - Rhapsody, Cameo Magic Draw, Rhapsody
  • Must have in-scope DoW Top Secret security clearance

  • OCSMP levels 1 and 2, INCOSE ASEP or CSEP certifications
