Sushi by Scratch Restaurants is seeking a Bartender who is creative, outgoing, professional, engaging, and willing to learn. Scratch Restaurants are not your traditional restaurant environments, we are a unique fine dining restaurant group, with 10 guests at a time, providing an intimate experience and enjoying some of the best sushi and sake that money can buy!
The ideal candidate will be able to create and maintain a unique cocktail program to compliment the cuisine. You will also be required to understand the steps of service and provide support where needed, outside of your beverage responsibilities. Knowledge of Japanese spirits, sake and beer is not required.
POSITION SUMMARY The role of the Bartender is to provide primary support to the Front of House and to execute the beverage program per the direction of the Company standards. The bartender will need to possess, deliver, practice and utilize strong work ethics, executive fine dining bar service with a specialty knowledge of wine and cocktails and mocktails. The position is responsible for the various tasks involved in the front of house operations including constant positive interaction with guests and team (culinary and front of house), ability to prepare batch cocktails, make beverage pairing recommendations, as well as maintain a pristine area of operation. The position requires availability to work regular scheduled shifts and special events.
