Job description

Role Overview
The Administration Assistant Manager supports administrative and corporate affairs functions for Mobis North America's Electronic Powertrain operations. This role is responsible for governmental affairs, ESG activities, and community relations while ensuring alignment with Hyundai Mobis global standards. The position serves as a key representative of the company to government entities, local communities, and external partners, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
Administrative & Corporate Support
  • Support the Administration Manager in managing day-to-day GA operations in compliance with Hyundai Mobis policies and procedures
  • Coordinate internal administrative processes and documentation in alignment with HQ and regional requirements
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and official correspondence.
  • Assist with VIP visits, HQ delegations, and official company events

ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of Hyundai Mobis ESG strategies at the North America Electronic Powertrain sites
  • Coordinate environmental compliance activities and sustainability initiatives
  • Assist with ESG data collection, documentation, and reporting to headquarters
  • Promote ethical business practices, safety culture, and corporate governance standards
  • Coordinate business permits and licenses
  • Assist management during visits or communications involving government officials and regulatory representatives
  • Support ESG internal audits, compliance checks, and management reporting
  • Support communication between MNAe operations and Korean headquarters (HQ reporting, coordination, protocol support)

Community Relations & CSR
  • Serve as a primary contact for local community organizations, educational institutions, and partners
  • Plan and coordinate community engagement and CSR activities aligned with Mobis values
  • Support communication and resolution of community-related concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Represent the company at community meetings, events, and outreach programs
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as local communities, environmental organizations, and regulatory bodies, to enhance sustainability efforts

This role operates within defined corporate policies and procedures and exercises judgment appropriate to its level of responsibility. The position may influence decisions related to functional operations, processes, or recommendations and escalate matters as required

Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, International Relations, Environmental Studies, or a related field
  • 2-7 years of experience in administration, corporate affairs, governmental liaison, ESG, or related functions
  • Experience with government agencies or community organizations in the U.S. is a plus
