Job description

Job Title: Mobility & Automation Account Manager
Location: US-Remote with the ability to travel up to 30%.
Overview
The Mobility and Automation (M & A) Account Manager is responsible for selling Blue Yonder End Point/Third Party Product solutions using strategic solution selling methodologies. The Account Manager will be responsible for certain verticals (Example T&L, Life Sciences, Automotive and High-Tech) and will work with the software field sales team to provide additional value to our customers.


What You'll Do:

  • Own the sales performance of new Hardware or 3rd party solutions to the assigned customers in the assigned vertical(s)
  • Achieve bookings plan for all new M & A technologies opportunities. To include:
    • End point technology like mobile computers, scanners, printers and tablets
    • Voice picking technologies
    • Leading edge technology like robotics, RFID and machine vision
    • 3rd Party Software
  • Act as a consultative and trusted advisor to Blue Yonder software customer base for end point technology
  • Develop and execute specific customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans, including partnering with Blue Yonder Vertical Software Sales Team
  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty with customers
  • Develop compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis
  • Execute against the major steps of the sales process: find new business opportunities, qualify new opportunities, and close new business
  • Identify and utilize appropriate internal resources to engage in sales cycles
  • Identify business plan and strategy, key decision makers, key performance indicators, and budget constraints
  • Maintain an accurate, comprehensive and updated sales forecast and ongoing order tracking sheet
  • Manage interactions with customers during all phases of the sales cycle and serve as a focal point for customer services issue escalation as appropriate
  • Serve as a resource for customer references and provides strategic customer insight including current state of business, additional business opportunities, and challenges faced by the customer
  • Negotiate competitive pricing structures on behalf of the Blue Yonder customer base with hardware manufacturers


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5+ years Field or Inside Sales w/ experience in hardware or supply chain automation industry
  • Knowledge of Honeywell/Zebra products is preferred
  • Knowledge of Voice, AMR, and other warehouse automation technology highly valued
  • Personable, outgoing, helpful, able to initiate conversation and communicate in an engaging manner
  • Proven track record of exceptional ability to cultivate new customer relationships and drive to closure
  • Experience working in a team sales environment
  • Knowledge of CRM/Contact Manager software required; experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Manufacturing or Supply Chain experience a HUGE plus
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a joint selling motion with enterprise software sellers

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
