Position Overview

This is a field-based 1099 contractor position serving the greater Las Vegas area.

The ideal candidate is confident working independently, managing a mobile route efficiently, and delivering exceptional patient care in a variety of settings.

This role requires proficiency in both:

  • General Diagnostic Ultrasound
  • Transthoracic Echocardiography (Echo)

You will work closely with our coordination team while maintaining the independence and flexibility that experienced mobile technologists value.


What You'll Do

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality general ultrasound studies
  • Perform transthoracic echocardiograms independently
  • Travel to patient homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition and documentation
  • Upload completed studies promptly for interpretation


Operational Responsibilities

  • Complete accepted exams the same day whenever possible
  • Maintain timely communication with intake and dispatch
  • Provide status updates regarding patient scheduling and completion
  • Respond professionally to coordination messages regarding assigned patients
  • Represent Mantro Mobile Imaging with professionalism, reliability, and compassion


Qualifications

Required

  • ARDMS Registered
  • Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
  • Strong proficiency in general ultrasound imaging
  • Ability to independently perform transthoracic echocardiograms
  • Reliable transportation
  • Portable ultrasound system capable of performing both general and cardiac studies
  • Ability to securely transmit digital images


Preferred

  • RDCS Credential
  • Prior mobile imaging or field-based healthcare experience
  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
