Shift: 2nd & 3rd shift

Compensation: $30.36/hr first 90 days - $33.36'/hr after 90 days

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide Operation support in and around the shaft elevator, feeders, conveyors, shaft walkways, openings and screens to ensure the buildup and overflow of salt product is continually removed and the area kept clean of buildup and remains operations
  • Servicing, inspecting and operating various mobile support equipment including various forklifts, trucks, tractors, and bobcats as well as support the production panels in any way needed
  • Performing routine tasks to ensure functional operation and reliability of assets
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
  • High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work underground in a mining environment
  • Ability to get a routine background check and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearm (ATF) "Explosives Possessor" background check: To ensure a safe working environment for all employees, we will conduct a criminal background check. 
  • Ability to complete annual physical and D/A test
  • Ability to work under oxygen for up to 30 minutes and meet fit test requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic computers skills
  • Prior experience in production related work\
  • Heavy construction experience and/ or commercial construction experience
  • Previous mining experience
