Job description

We are looking for a Mobile Device Support Tech to support a healthcare organization in Las Vegas, Nevada with large-scale mobile device upgrade work across multiple hospital sites. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical support, working directly with end users, and ensuring devices are updated, configured, and ready for clinical staff. The role focuses on mobile device upgrades, troubleshooting, and onsite assistance in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform onsite updates, configuration changes, and functional checks for mobile devices used by healthcare teams across hospital locations in Las Vegas, Nevada.
• Support operating system refreshes and application-related updates by following established technical instructions and documented procedures.
• Assist with device platform upgrade activities, including moving supported devices to newer approved versions as directed by the project plan.
• Provide direct technical support to staff during device handoff, setup, validation, and issue resolution to minimize disruption to daily operations.
• Travel between assigned hospital facilities to complete scheduled upgrade work and maintain steady progress throughout each phase of the project.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve common mobile device issues encountered during upgrade and configuration efforts.
• Document completed work, track device status, and communicate progress, risks, or recurring problems to project stakeholders.
• Work independently while maintaining service quality, accuracy, and professionalism in a clinical support setting.• Prior experience in IT support, desktop support, or help desk environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with mobile devices, mobile device support, and mobile device management practices.
• Ability to follow step-by-step technical procedures with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently in an onsite, project-driven environment with travel between facilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills when assisting end users and operational teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic device, software, and configuration issues efficiently.
• Experience supporting technology in healthcare settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise mobile platforms is an advantage.
