Job description

VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Painter for a great company in Albuquerque, NM
This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a Schedule of Monday - Friday 5am-2:30pm
Pay for this position is $23-$24 DOE

As a Painter you will:
  • perform actual painting of all products including mobile water tanks, trailers, dump bodies, stationary structures, and piece work
  • Perform preparation of products by sandblasting, grinding, sanding, applying body filler putty, and masking.
  • Painting product by mixing and applying primers, masticks, and paint
  • Apply interior anti-corrosive paint in the water tanks, and move product in and out of paint bay
  • Climb in and out of tanks for interior cleaning/prep/paint
Painter candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
  • High School Diploma or GED; or six months to one year automobile or machinery painting or combination of both.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
  • Have good hand eye coordination
  • Ability to follow repetitive work and follow verbal instructions
  • Able to be on your feet for your full shift along with bending, stooping, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs. and climbing
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces or high locations as required
