Cityside Fiber is on the hunt for a Direct Sales Representative, also known as "Community Engagement Specialist", who will be our local champion—knocking doors (85% of your time!) and lighting up neighborhoods with blazing-fast fiber internet. You’ll be the friendly face of Cityside in your territory, thrilling residents with the perks of fiber, forging genuine connections, and smashing sales milestones. If you’ve got an entrepreneurial spirit, ninja-level persuasion skills, and the grit to thrive in the field, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

  • Knock on doors and engage residents with confident, personalized pitches that turn prospects into loyal customers.
  • Host and energize local events and community meetups to showcase Cityside’s fiber advantages and generate buzz.
  • Deliver clear, compelling demonstrations of our lightning-fast speeds and solid reliability.
  • Proactively identify and qualify leads, then shepherd them through the sales funnel to close deals.
  • Consistently hit weekly and monthly targets by refining your approach based on real-time performance metrics.
  • Forge strategic alliances with neighborhood associations, business owners, and local influencers to amplify referrals.
  • Partner with marketing to test and iterate on hyper-local campaigns, promotions, and collateral.
  • Prepare communities for network build-out by educating stakeholders, gathering feedback, and smoothing the rollout process.
  • Maintain up-to-date CRM records, track every interaction, and leverage data insights to optimize your territory plan.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ success in door-to-door or direct field sales, preferably within ISP, telecom, or tech sectors.
  • A proven history of exceeding quotas through tenacious follow-up, creative problem solving, and an unwavering “never-quit” attitude.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your message to diverse audiences.
  • Sharp organizational chops, self-driven time management, and the discipline to own your pipeline end-to-end.
  • Comfort with frequent travel (up to 90% of your week) and navigating new neighborhoods independently.
  • A valid driver’s license and spotless driving record
  • Tech savvy with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), mobile sales tools, and a knack for quickly adopting new systems.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset—resilient, coachable, and energized by targets, teamwork, and rapid growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus, but your track record of hustle and results matters most.
