What You'll Do
- Operate digital and computed radiography (DR/CR) portable X-ray equipment at various healthcare facilities.
- Perform high-quality X-ray exams as ordered by physicians, ensuring diagnostically useful images.
- Maintain and troubleshoot X-ray equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure proper documentation and transmission of images to radiologists for interpretation.
- Communicate professionally with facility staff, patients, and management.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Support additional procedures such as EKGs if applicable.
What You Need
- Valid state license or multi-state license for radiologic technology in North Carolina
- Certified in BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Prior experience in radiology or related acute care preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
About the Assignment This opportunity involves providing mobile X-ray (and EKG, if applicable) services to healthcare facilities in Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh, and surrounding areas. You will perform diagnostic imaging with portable equipment, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
