Job description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Mobile Staging Technician (MST) is responsible for safely loading and unloading vehicles with collections supplies, kits, and equipment for daily mobile operations. This position maintains an organized, well-stocked, clean, and clutter-free work area and works under minimal supervision. The MST manages equipment, controls costs effectively, prioritizes tasks, and completes assignments in a timely manner. 
The MST exemplifies and champions Carter BloodCare (CBC) Core Values and Code of Conduct. This position attends meetings and training sessions, as required, to support ongoing development and organizational goals.
A valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (as specified in the current Vehicle Loss Control Guide) are required. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred. Regular travel between assigned work areas to support other locations in North, Central and East Texas is required. 
This position may require working varying shifts, extended hours, weekends, and/or overtime to support operational needs. Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours. 

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferred
  • Warehouse and driving experience, preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (CDL preferred)

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to read, understand, communicate, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information with an emphasis on departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers and peers using basic software applications/computers, or other electronic devices
  • Ability to focus on customer service excellence, safety, compliance, and quality control
