Mobile Operations Manager


Our client is transforming the automotive locksmith industry through innovative mobile technology, robotics, and exceptional customer experiences. They are seeking a Mobile Operations Manager to lead a team of Mobile Operations Technicians while remaining hands-on in the field as the team's go-to expert for automotive key cutting and programming.


This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader with experience cutting, duplicating, and programming automotive keys, fobs, and remotes who enjoys developing teams, driving sales, and delivering outstanding customer service.


What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3-4 Mobile Operations Technicians
  • Train team members on automotive key programming, customer service, and sales best practices
  • Drive sales performance and customer satisfaction across assigned locations
  • Cut, duplicate, clone, and program automotive keys, fobs, and remotes
  • Troubleshoot complex programming issues and support technicians in the field
  • Build strong relationships with customers and retail partners
  • Monitor team productivity, sales metrics, and service quality
  • Oversee inventory, equipment maintenance, and daily field operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures


Required Qualifications

  • Experience cutting, duplicating, and programming automotive keys, fobs, and remotes
  • Previous leadership experience as a Manager, Supervisor, Team Lead, Assistant Manager, or similar role
  • Strong customer service and sales skills
  • Ability to coach, train, and develop employees
  • Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, POS systems, and inventory software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record


Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive locksmith experience
  • Mobile service or field operations experience
  • Experience with transponder programming, key cloning, smart keys, or immobilizer systems
  • Familiarity with Autel, Xhorse VVDI, AutoProPad, Smart Pro, OBDSTAR, or similar programming tools
