JOB DESCRIPTION

A large health system in Georgia is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee clinical operations in Young Harris, Georgia. Under limited supervision, this role manages nursing staff, clinical services, quality assurance processes, and select fiscal responsibilities within a local public health clinic. The Nurse Manager plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with public health regulations and established nursing protocols. This position is responsible for supervising nursing and clerical staff, overseeing laboratory workflows, coordinating nurse coverage during public health emergencies, and leading outreach initiatives to strengthen community engagement. The Nurse Manager also provides direct patient care, including administering vaccines to children and adults, conducting school-required screenings and audits, and supporting programs such as TB, Child Health, Family Planning, and Infectious Disease clinics. The ideal candidate is a self-directed nurse who thrives in an autonomous environment, values community involvement, and is passionate about public health. Compensation:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3+ years of nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience administering vaccines to pediatric and adult populations
• Ability to work independently within established nursing protocols
