JOB DESCRIPTION
A large health system in Georgia is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee clinical operations in Young Harris, Georgia. Under limited supervision, this role manages nursing staff, clinical services, quality assurance processes, and select fiscal responsibilities within a local public health clinic. The Nurse Manager plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with public health regulations and established nursing protocols. This position is responsible for supervising nursing and clerical staff, overseeing laboratory workflows, coordinating nurse coverage during public health emergencies, and leading outreach initiatives to strengthen community engagement. The Nurse Manager also provides direct patient care, including administering vaccines to children and adults, conducting school-required screenings and audits, and supporting programs such as TB, Child Health, Family Planning, and Infectious Disease clinics. Compensation:
$71,199 to $74,759 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3+ years of nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
o If ASN, must be willing to complete a BSN/PHN-related course within the first year of hire
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience administering vaccines to pediatric and adult populations
• Ability to work independently within established nursing protocols
• Comfort supervising and guiding small clinical and administrative teams
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Public health nursing experience/strong understanding of public health services
• Experience in women’s health, STI/STD clinics, family planning, or child health programs
• Spanish language skills (read, write, and speak)
• Background in clinic leadership
• Experience in outpatient or physician office settings
• Strong community engagement experience (outreach events, partnerships, rotary clubs, etc.)
• Comfort with EMR systems
