Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Women's Health / Champion of Mobile Clinic Programs

Department: MHCS Department

General Tasks

  • Women's Health Services: Provide comprehensive women's health services within the mobile clinic setting.
  • Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough patient evaluations including medical histories, physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory results as appropriate.
  • Preventive Care and Health Education: Provide preventive health services including vaccinations, health screenings, nutrition counseling, and patient education.
  • Care Coordination and Referrals: Coordinate care with other medical and behavioral health professionals to ensure continuity of care and timely follow-up for patients requiring additional support.
  • Chronic Condition Screening and Management: Screen for and manage conditions that impact health, such as hypertension, diabetes, anemia, and behavioral health concerns, while coordinating referrals when advanced care is needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Mobile Clinic Operations Support: Assist with daily mobile clinic operations including preparing the clinical space, managing supplies and inventory, supporting patient intake and follow-up, verifying insurance when applicable, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, community health workers, and program staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Community Outreach and Engagement: Participate in community outreach activities to increase awareness of women's health services offered through the mobile clinic, while building relationships with local organizations and community partners.
  • Leadership and Program Development: Serve as a clinical champion for the mobile clinic program by contributing to program development, quality improvement efforts, and strategic planning to expand access to women's health services.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education:
    • Master's or DNP Nurse Practitioner (APRN) with completion of an accredited APRN program, with current Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) Board Certification through the National Certification Corporation (NCC) or equivalent certifying body. 
    • Currently licensed or eligible for Missouri APRN licensure 
  • Experience: 
    • Clinical experience in women's health services preferred
    • Certified Nurse Midwife preferred
    • Experience with EHR preferred
  • Performance: Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders

Work Environment 

100% Onsite - APRN is expected to travel with the mobile clinic team to nearby mobile health locations. The main brick-and-mortar location is at 110 S. 2nd St. Ellington, MO 63638

Salary & Benefits 

  1. 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service 
  2. Medical insurance - 100% employer contribution, participating plans 
  3. $10K Life insurance - 100% employer contribution 
  4. Dental/Vision - employee contribution 
  5. 401K - 120 days eligibility is fully vested with up to a 4% match 
  6. Weekly payday, every Friday 
  7. Quarterly profit sharing, up to 20% of annual wages, and an Open Book Management organization
  8. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Offers are based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Salary range - $115,000 to $125,000 annually, with a progressive growth plan based on performance
