F-35 Acquisition Program Manager

The Opportunity:

An effective program requires a manager who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That's why we need you, a seasoned program manager who can ensure our acquisition program achieves success.

As a lead program manager on our team, you'll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding the client through complex challenges. Your client will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As a leader in the Air Power market, you'll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client's mission. You'll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact the client while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience supporting a program office such as the DoD acquisition program office
  • Experience with DoD aviation acquisition or modernization programs
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000 series policies, procedures, and processes
  • Knowledge of cost, schedule, performance, and risk management
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft Office suite
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with DoD 5th Generation fighter aircraft acquisition
  • Experience working in a DoD classified program
  • Ability to work in a highly demanding and highly visible program
  • Ability to communicate to work across multiple teams and with leadership
  • TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
