Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner of our mobile solutions to join our innovative product management team. The ideal candidate will have experience creating differentiated mobile applications that are functionally rich and provide an outstanding user experience (intuitive to use, improves user efficiency, etc.).
You should be equally comfortable collaborating with the engineering team as you are talking with a UX designer or discussing new capabilities with customers. You should be able to think strategically (e.g., defining product vision) and tactically (e.g., creating stories for the engineering team or defining the layout of a mobile capability).
Overall, you are someone who is laser-focused on creating a great mobile solution for our customers. That means you have a high bar in terms of what is acceptable, and you not only hold the team accountable to that standard, but you lead them there. To do that, you need to be a visionary but also someone who is driving execution. You are a self-starter who can take charge, make decisions, and get up to speed quickly. You thrive in a fast-paced, environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously, and have an entrepreneurial mindset to get products to market quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the engineering team to create a best-in-class mobile solution that is intuitive to use, fully functional, with a great user experience that drives usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements and translate that into stories for the engineering team.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Conduct market research, gather user feedback and operational metrics to inform product decisions and enhancements.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the mobile application with SAP, IBM Maximo, JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion, and other maintenance management systems.
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for the plant maintenance mobile application to internal stakeholders and external customers/prospects.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in mobile application development and plant maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on architectural design and implementation approach. You will not have to write code, but you should be technical enough to discuss design approaches with them.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role on a mobile application.
  • Knowledge of SAP, IBM Maximo, JD Edwards, Oracle Fusion, and other maintenance management systems.
  • Experience with business-to-business mobile applications for iOS and Android.
  • Experience building mobile applications, both native and utilizing React Native.
  • Experience working with UX designers to create a differentiated user experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with market research and user feedback analysis.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on delivering value to users.

Nice To Have Qualifications:
  • User of SAP Plant Maintenance / IBM Maximo in previous role.
  • Certification in Product Management (e.g., CSPO, SAFe POPM).
  • Experience with industrial and manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems.
