Role Summary
The Lead App Engineer provides hands on technical leadership for mobile application development across iOS and Android platforms, driving the evolution of scalable React Native applications. This role plays a key part in shaping mobile architecture, improving application performance, and ensuring consistent delivery quality across a multi brand digital ecosystem.

In this position, you will lead development efforts, establish engineering standards, and partner with cross functional teams to deliver high quality customer experiences. You will also oversee offshore vendor delivery, ensuring accountability, quality, and alignment with internal engineering practices while actively contributing to coding, architecture, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead development and delivery of React Native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms
• Design and maintain scalable mobile architecture, ensuring performance, stability, and reliability
• Provide hands on development for complex features, technical enhancements, and production issue resolution
• Establish and enforce mobile engineering standards, including coding practices, testing, and release processes
• Partner with product and UX teams to translate business requirements into high quality mobile solutions
• Collaborate with API, web, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to support end to end delivery
• Oversee offshore engineering teams and vendor partners to ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to standards
• Conduct code reviews, validate deliverables, and support release readiness including app store submissions

Key Requirements
• 7 plus years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on mobile application development
• 3 plus years of experience leading technical delivery, mentoring engineers, or acting as a senior technical owner
• Advanced hands on experience with React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and mobile development for iOS and Android
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, API integration, performance optimization, and mobile UX patterns
• Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs and modern application architectures
• Proficiency with Git based workflows, CI CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile delivery practices
• Experience supporting mobile app releases, production support, and app store submission processes
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence both internal and external teams
